Sixteen-year-old Abby is a high-spirited teenager who is often in trouble and frequently on the receiving end of a sound spanking from her single parent father, Frank, who is the local chief of police. However, when her history teacher, Miss Castleberry, gives Abby a bare bottom paddling for something she hadn't actually done, Frank pays her teacher a visit. He gives Miss Castleberry an ultimatum: either she accepts a bare bottom paddling from him like his daughter was subjected to or else he will report her to the school board. Although initially incensed by his suggestion, in the end she opts for the paddling. Subsequently, however, the two end up seeing each other romantically, a situation Abby is not at all happy with.
