Strong-willed and occasionally ill-tempered Victoria Simpson is a student and a member of the prestigious Sigma Epsilon Delta sorority at Granger College. Her father, the CEO of Simpson Industries, loves her very much but nevertheless occasionally finds it necessary to take her over his knee and spank her when her attitude and temper get out of control.

Being something of a control freak and difficult to handle, Victoria tends to have many first dates with boys on the campus but rarely sees them a second time. At her history seminar, where she is keen to impress and get an A grade, she finds herself being outdone by the quarterback of the football team, the handsome and intelligent, Grant Taft. She forms an instant dislike of him, at least on the surface, and subsequent encounters between them do not go well.

One evening when out on a run in an isolated area, Victoria is attacked. At first she accuses Grant of the attack but when it later transpires that he had in fact saved her from the assailant, she does not apologize or thank him for his timely intervention. It looks like the two of them are destined to remain apart but her father, who has previously made Grant's acquaintance, has other ideas, and arranges for the two of them to meet. When Victoria finally apologizes for her behaviour, Grant insists that a spanking is in order, and afterwards they share an intimate moment. Despite getting off to a bad start, could it be that they may have a future together?
