Set in 2046, this story paints a picture of a very different world - a world populated by the very rich, and the rest of society - the workers. The USA is controlled by a loose collation of huge corporations and a much smaller government which has revolutionized the criminal justice system, substituting corporal punishment based corrections for most non-violent violations. Correction facilities predominate! Adam, bored with his mundane job in a warehouse, applies for the position of Correction Administrator. He undergoes a painful and humiliating three month training course which in addition to teaching him how to discipline others, involves him receiving various forms of corporal punishment. He later meets and falls for Jill who has been sentenced for correction after having been found guilty of running an illegal hairdressing business from her home. He has to punish her, but their relationship survives. However, in this society, before people can marry they have to first attend a series of matrimonial classes where they are introduced to the pleasure and pain of the Spencer Spanking Plan - where any breach of a couple's agreed-upon rules in their Spencer contract results in a memorable application of the Spencer strap on the bare bottom...
