A New Girl at Westland Hall tells of a rite of passage between Head Boy Tom Elliot and new arrival to the co-ed sixth form, Pippa Hamilton. There is an attraction between the two which develops into something much more when Pippa admits to stealing a five pound note. If Tom were to report the crime, Pippa would be expelled, so he resorts to corporal punishment instead and gives her a slippering. As for Pippa, her initial feelings of shame give way to excitement and arousal. Pippa is not the only one to be punished, for as the tale unfolds, the bully Claire Deschampes is caned for her part in the incident. Pippa witnesses the caning and finds it exciting beyond belief - and she is also jealous that it is not herself being disciplined by Tom. She makes her needs known, and Tom is only too happy to oblige, resorting to harder and more inventive punishments as their relationship develops, fueled by their mutual interest in the pleasures of corporal punishment.
