Some Problems Caused by Alcohol: Three devious fifth formers break the law in an attempt to smuggle alcoholic cider into their school, but they badly mishandle the affair. As a result, their entire form is sentenced to the slipper. As Celia, Carolyn and Donna are the ringleaders of the cider-smuggling operation, each is subjected to a caning. Their classmate Imogen also suffers, albeit a mere slippering, for having attempted to deceive a housemistress by wearing two pairs of knickers beneath her pyjama bottoms.

Slippered at School and Home: Joyce Andrews tells her husband about the two sixteen-year-old schoolgirls, Sheila and Jean, she had punished at school earlier that day with a big slipper. She regales him with all the facts, in great detail.

The Dangers of Drugs: One evening, Marjorie and Elaine take a couple of pills plus alcohol at a night club, which is later raided by the police. The two underage girls are searched and more tablets found in their possession. The female police officer knows that if she reports the matter to their school, the two fifth form girls will be dealt with severely by the headmistress and her fearsome cane. She is proved right!

A Whacking for Wendy: Girls at St Theresa's are expected to behave themselves, but Wendy's behaviour is not up to the required standard. She has earned 3 detentions in a term, so is sent to the headmistress for the cane. It proves to be quite an ordeal!

Sent for the Cane: Fourth former Mandy is usually a well-behaved student, but she pays a painful price for swearing at a teacher. This earns her a memorable caning from the headmistress, Mrs Paige, whose evil rod inflicts four hard strokes on Mandy's bottom.
