When Rachel leaves home and goes to college, she fails to behave like a responsible adult. Her lax and hedonistic behaviour goes from bad to worse and her grades suffer significantly as a result. Her strict parents are furious; firm believers in corporal punishment, they punish her when she's home for the holidays. But the punishment doesn't end there... if she is to continue her education, Rachel has to move off campus and stay with one of her father's business contacts, a Mr Greg Lowman. To Rachel's horror, Mr Lowman is every bit as strict as her parents. It isn't long before she is feeling the hairbrush, switch and belt on her bare behind. Yet her spankings are always administered with the best of intentions, and the only way to stop them from happening is to change her behaviour... which takes quite a long time! This is a rite-of-passage for Rachel, who slowly learns how to knuckle down with her studies and take responsibility for her actions.
