Lucy, a newly qualified teacher, takes a job at the local school in Palmer Springs, her dad's home town. The community is an unusual one in that the majority of the residents practice domestic discipline, and because 22-year-old Lucy is living at home, she is under her father's authority - in other words, if she misbehaves, he will spank her. The new regime takes a bit of getting used to, particularly as Lucy's dad spanks her for another reason too... As a teacher, Lucy is allowed to spank pupils and finds she rather enjoys the ensuing power trip, so comes to an agreement with Dad that if she paddles her students at school, she too will get paddled at home. It is a cathartic time for Lucy, who often has a sore bottom! And when the new police chief appears on the scene and they begin a relationship, she gains a more personal insight into the DD lifestyle.
