Although Terri is working two jobs, she never has quite enough money to make ends meet, and is often tired - which leads to making a mistake at the department store where she works during the day. When Mrs Giddings, the department manager, discusses the matter with Terri, Terri bursts into tears; and when Mrs Giddings learns that Terri has no parents or family, her motherly instincts kick in and she invites Terri to her home for supper. Terri immediately takes to Mrs Giddings daughters, Sylvia and Ruth, and very quickly feels welcome and accepted by the family, which later leads to her moving in with them permanently.

Terri's life is transformed, and to make up for missing out on her teenage years, the young-looking 24-year-old becomes 15 again. But this means she is subject to the same loving discipline as her new sisters, and it isn't long before she goes over the maternal lap for a bare bottom spanking. She is also enrolled at the same school as her sisters where she experiences corporal punishment from the formidable teaching staff. But life is good as a regressed fifteen-year old; Terri makes friends, loves her new mother, and delights in learning how to grow up amongst a caring and supportive family.
