Playing badly at a recital that should have launched a glittering career, Miss Simpson goes on to set up a Piano Academy with a difference. Corporal punishment is high on the agenda, and standards of discipline are rigorously enforced with the assistance of various implements, notably an arsenal of stingy canes. Initially shocked at the nature of the disciplinary regime, Emma thinks her behaviour will never merit a dose of the cane. Wrong! Before long she is bending and baring her bottom with the other students for six - and often more - of the best. Miss Simpson's canings are bad enough, but when the dreaded Mrs Coombes visits, the unfortunate students learn a truly painful lesson from an adept caner who takes grim satisfaction in her handiwork. Emma develops a love/hate relationship with the cane, and after she graduates from the academy, realises how much she misses the burning kiss of rattan. But all is not lost, as there is one person in particular who will be delighted to take the rod to Emma's bare bottom...
