Eleanor: Eleanor, at 15, is a first rate student who trades on her position as top in most subjects to get away with things. But now she finds herself in trouble for repeated lateness to class and must face the severe Mr Downey for her first ever slippering. It is every bit as bad as she imagines. She then lies to her parents, and when they find out, her dad also punishes her with a slipper. Things go from bad to worse, and Eleanor falls foul of Mr Downey again and gets a dose of the ruler too!

The Note Sent Home: Angela deceives her parents by not telling them about her detentions at school, but when she has to take a note home for signing following a third offense, her parents are angry and disappointed. It is now time for Angela to pay the price for her bad behaviour - on her bottom with Dad's slipper.

Justice for Janice?: Damage caused by sprayed fizzy pop out of a can leads to a recommendation that Janice report to the headmaster for a caning. Scared, she goes home instead, hoping her mother can prevent her caning. It goes ahead, and culminates in a punishment at home too with a wooden spoon!

A Deflating Experience: After she is caught running in the hall, Yvonne is humiliated by Mr Grayson who makes her bend for the slipper and orders her to stand on display. She plans revenge, and slashes his car tyres - which gets her in even more trouble. She is caned at school, and also punished at home.
