When a jury finds Caroline guilty of causing serious injury through dangerous driving, she faces not only a prison sentence, but 12 lashes with the birch rod. The regime inside the women's prison is a tough one, and Caroline has to cope with the prison hierarchy and its bullies amongst the inmates, as well as the strict women prison officers laying down the law.
