Following her husband's death, Debbie Henderson returns to work and puts in long hours to support her two teenage daughters. Coming home to an empty house for several hours each day, Danielle and Whitney enjoy an idyllic existence without parental supervision. They selfishly leave all the chores to their mom and do exactly as they please. Debbie makes threats but never carries them through, and her laxness gives the girls leeway to misbehave and get away with it. But things change drastically when mom's new boyfriend arrives on the scene. In spite of Danielle and Whitney's attempts to sabotage the relationship, Alan Johnstone is here to stay. However, he takes Debbie to task for failing to enforce discipline on her unruly daughters. Realising the error of her ways, Debbie submits to Alan's discipline herself, and is confident that Alan should also spank her daughters, who by now are totally out of control. Taking on two bratty teens as well as their mother is a daunting task, but Alan is up for the challenge. A strict and authoritative man, he is soon monitoring behaviours and spanking bare bottoms with his hard hand and leather belt. Some of the punishments are fierce and very painful, but gradually behaviours improve. After Debbie and Alan marry, Alan continues to carry out his duties as stepfather. Three red bottoms are not an unusual sight in the Johnstone household!
