SLUMBER PARTY INVITATION

by Frank Martinet

Slumber Party Invitation

The house was huge and beautiful, in an elite place on the hillside with a view of the valley. It was at least a quarter of a mile from the nearest neighbor with its own gated entrance with a sophisticated-looking security keypad to allow entry. Ari had never seen such immaculate gardens. There was even a pool, though since it was winter, the girls wouldn't be using that. Ari wondered if she might be able to come in the summer and swim.

She still could hardly believe that she'd been invited to one of Storm's famous (or was it infamous?) slumber parties. She'd half expected it to be a bad joke, an elaborate prank where they'd pull the rug out from under her at the last minute. Even though she was now here, in the magnificent vaulted living room with the crystal chandeliers, she still worried that someone would tell her she didn't belong. After all, Ari was only eighteen and these other girls were all older and attending college.

Except for Bailey. She looked even younger than Ari, practically a kid, though she was disgustingly cute with that perky smile of hers.

Why did they invite us? Ari thought again. Are we about to be punked?

She'd been warned that Storm's parties were unusual. There were whispers around school that exotic things happened. No one seemed to know exactly what - some said wild sex orgies, others witchcraft and séances - but Ari doubted it was anything that extreme. Maybe some naughty party games, a porno video or two, and perhaps dares to take some slutty selfies.

Still, she was nervous. She barely knew the older girls. Jenise was the tough-looking blond. She was bossy and loud. Haleigh was tall with flowing dark hair. She had the most amazing body. She seemed sweet, but Ari had heard that she was a bad girl at heart, which was intriguing. Marisa was another blond, petite compared to Jenise. Ari thought she was prettier. She was quieter and more studious.

The other two were Laia and Reena. Ari knew nothing about either, other than what she saw. Laia had a wide smile and seemed model-gorgeous, though big in the hip. Reena was tiny, as slender as a reed. Her tits and ass were very pert, however, giving her small frame a very feminine look. Like a miniature Barbie, thought Ari. Reena's hair was brown and gorgeous, flowing down her shoulders. Laia's was short and black.

Every girl here is stunning, Ari thought uncomfortably. She knew she stood out with her vivid red hair - all natural - and she knew she was pretty, especially when the dimples in her cheeks showed when she smiled. But she was small and not even as well-endowed as tiny Reena. She felt intimidated by all these older, more sophisticated girls. She drew some solace from the fact that she wasn't completely alone, Bailey also being eighteen.

Then there was the host, Storm Alstott. Almost twenty, rich, blond, and absolutely perfect in every way. She was ridiculously beautiful, with a large circular face and dimpled cheeks and flawless snow-white teeth. Her eyes were blue, her hair golden and in gentle curls around her shoulders. She always wore the most fabulous clothes. Even her pajamas were silk designer's wear. Ari could well imagine her wearing Channel for sweaty yard work. Assuming the girl actually had chores to do, which was doubtful. Storm probably had maids and gardeners and never had to even rinse a dish.

Yet despite her luxurious upbringing, Storm was not the snob Ari had expected. The girl was friendly and smiled at everyone. In a way, she tried too hard: probably trying to overcome the 'handicap' of her circumstance. She'd welcomed Ari with a big hug and told her, "My house is your house. Make yourself at home."

Ari didn't quite understand how or why she'd been chosen, but she decided that until something proved otherwise, she'd just take the invitation at face value and welcome the opportunity to hang out with the cool crowd.

The accommodations were amazing. The whole group went downstairs to a huge basement game room. It felt like the size of a football field to Ari, though she wasn't really one to judge such things. She saw billiard and ping pong tables, football and air hockey, and a regulation dart board area. Off to the side in one corner there was a giant 80" flatscreen mounted on a wall and surrounded by comfy beanbag chairs and sofas. Opposite it was a bar that looked like a complete kitchen with full-sized fridge, range, microwave, and spacious countertop with a built-in sink.

At the far end of the room was what Storm called the "active gaming area." It had thinner carpet, like the playing surface at a miniature golf course, and featured a half-size basketball court. The ceiling was at least twelve feet high, though there was only one hoop at regulation height. Below on opposing walls there were small soccer goals. Along the far wall were built-in shelves with metal rails which held in all sorts of athletic equipment: basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, Nerf balls and bats, all sorts of stuff.

Near this open area the girls spread out their sleeping bags. The carpet was so thick and soft that Ari thought it actually might be more comfortable than her bed at home!

"This place is awesome. I don't think I ever want to leave," she whispered to Bailey. The two had set up camp next to each other. Though they weren't friends, they were in the same situation and felt close to each other. Bailey grinned and nodded, her eyes wide as she scanned the room.

"Are Storm's parents really gone this weekend? We're alone here to do whatever we want?" asked the brunette.

"That's what I hear," said Ari.

Quiet Marisa, who was nearby, overheard the two talking. "Marko's here," the petite blond said. She spoke in a soft, almost reverent voice.

"Who's that?"

"Storm's older brother. He's in his final year of college. So gorgeous. You'll meet him later."

Ari felt a little disappointed they weren't completely alone, but the idea of a hot older boy being around wasn't that bad of a trade-off. "Cool," she said.

Once everyone had set up a place for themselves and possibly unpacked their little suitcases, Storm called everyone over to the kitchen area for drinks and announcements. She was beaming as she set out glasses with ice and took drink orders. There were numerous sodas on tap as well as juices and waters and Storm was clearly in her element being the gracious host. Haleigh assisted her, pouring drinks and passing them to the others.

"Cheers, everyone," Storm said, holding up her glass. "Here's to a wonderful weekend!" Everyone mimicked her, clinked glasses, and sipped.

"First, I'd like to welcome our two newcomers, Ari and Bailey." There was a little bit of applause at this, making Ari blush. "I hope you two realize what a special thing it is to be invited to join our group. You're the first new members we've ever had."

Ari's mouth was suddenly so dry she couldn't speak, so she just nodded. She was trembling, and sipped her pineapple juice to mask her nervousness.

"There's been some debate among us about who to invite and if we should invite anyone at all, but the truth is that our parties were getting a little predictable. Having some fresh blood here will make everything far more exciting."

Storm's bright blue eyes glowed as she studied the two smaller girls. Though there was nothing menacing about the gaze, the clear delight in the blond's expression made the redhead uncomfortable. She felt like a steak on a dinner plate.

Am I about to be devoured? she wondered. What on earth is going to happen?

"Before we begin, we do need to know that you two are committed. The first rule is that you're never to tell anyone what goes on here this weekend. I mean not a soul. If you can't promise that, then you should leave now."

All eyes turned to study the two new girls, who looked terrified. Ari gulped. "What-what's going to happen?" she asked. "It's not anything illegal, is it?"

"Not in the least!" laughed Storm. "But of course, I can't tell you what will happen because then you'd be in on our secret. You have to promise first, and then prove your commitment."

"How do we do that?" asked Bailey.

"You're going to have to complete a series of challenges. Nothing too difficult. It's mostly just embarrassing. You probably won't want to do these things, but if you want to be part of our group, then you'll do them. Otherwise we can call your folks to come pick you up and take you home."

That was the last thing in the world Ari wanted. "I'll stay," she said firmly.

"Me, too," said Bailey.

Storm nodded, clearly pleased. "All right. First, the oath. Haleigh, please swear them in."

The tall, voluptuous woman smiled at the girls. She held up her right hand in oath position. Ari and Bailey stood in front of her with their palms held up.

"I hereby solemnly swear," intoned Haleigh loudly.

"I hereby solemnly swear," echoed Bailey and Ari, less loudly.

"...that I wish to join the Slumber Society and I will accept all privileges and penalties in that honor."

"...that I wish to join the Slumber Society and I will accept all privileges and penalties in that honor."

"I shall never betray the confidence of my sisters."

"I shall never betray the confidence of my sisters."

"I will never tell anyone about the private activities of the Slumber Society," said Haleigh.

"I will never tell anyone about the private activities of the Slumber Society," repeated the new members together.

"What happens among us will remain the most precious secret, never to be revealed in my lifetime, for any reason."

"What happens among us will remain the most precious secret, never to be revealed in my lifetime, for any reason."

"From this moment forth, I am joined with my sisters in a common bond of sisterhood."

"From this moment forth, I am joined with my sisters in a common bond of sisterhood."

"This is a lifetime bond, never to be broken, on penalty of gruesome curse and banishment. So help me God."

Ari felt excitement surging within her as she and Bailey spoke the final phrase: "This is a lifetime bond, never to be broken, on penalty of gruesome curse and banishment. So help me God."

Haleigh grinned. "Welcome."

"That's it?" asked Ari.

"No, now you take your clothes off," said Storm. Her eyes twinkled mischievously.

"What?" cried Bailey.

"Every stitch."

"Why?" Ari asked, her heart racing. Her worries that this was all a prank were returning.

"This is your first test. To prove your loyalty to the group, you're both going to run naked up to my room and retrieve two items. One of you will get my rosewood hairbrush - it's on my dresser - and the other can bring me my pink slippers. They're in my closet."

"Naked?" Bailey asked doubtfully.

"We don't even know where your room is," added Ari. "We're supposed to wander through your house naked looking for it?"

Suddenly Ari remembered the words of Marisa earlier. "Your brother: he's here, isn't he? He's upstairs somewhere. We might run into him!"

Storm laughed. "Girls, this is supposed to be challenging. You have to do it to prove your loyalty to us."

"We've all done it," said Laia. Haleigh and the others were all nodding.

"It's tradition," someone added.

Bailey and Ari looked at each other and blushed. Ari smiled at her new friend. "We're in this together, right?"
