Elizabeth Winslow Jones is the twenty-year-old daughter of an aristocratic family but also a brat and an insufferable snob. Having been tasked with cleaning out the stables by her father, she decides instead to go horse riding with her friend, Debbie. Discovering what she perceives as a family of common folk on her family's private property, she is extremely rude to them, threatening the parents with hunting dogs and insulting their children. The offended man and his wife are shocked and appalled and voice their displeasure before the two girls ride off leaving the visitors fuming.

On arriving home, Elizabeth heads straight to bed, and when her mother arrives home, feigns illness as her excuse for not cleaning the stables. It seems she's about to get away with it but her lies are uncovered when her mother receives two phone calls - the first from Debbie and the second from the Taylors, who it turns out are their new neighbours and the family she insulted earlier. Worried about their reputation in the neighbourhood, Elizabeth's mother, Lady Winslow, decides that a spanking is in order, and to make matters worse she invites the Taylors over to witness it. A hand spanking follows, initially over Elizabeth's tight-fitting jodhpurs but then subsequently over her knickers and then lastly, to her great humiliation, on the bare.

Matters don't end there though, as her father arrives home during the spanking and, although initially shocked at what he finds, decides that further discipline is on order. Elizabeth is made to bend over his desk for a well-deserved dose of his strap, nicknamed the Rear Admiral. Later that night, Elizabeth dreams that her mother is disciplined by her father using the same strap she was spanked with earlier. The next morning at breakfast, however, she begins to wonder - was it really all just a dream...
