Divorcee Bram, originally from London but now living in the USA, is spending his summer by the sea. He can't resist watching his young neighbour, Beth, and she seems to like him too. She soon convinces him that the age difference between them doesn't matter and the pair begin a passionate summer romance. Beth surprises Bram when she asks him to spank her but he is only too happy to oblige.

Beth and Bram become close but Beth is confused by her feelings and worried about Bram leaving soon as his holiday is nearly over. Trying to sort out her feelings gets Beth into trouble but she knows she was in the wrong and chooses her own punishment.

Eventually, the time comes for Bram to return to work but they make plans for him to visit at the weekend. Unfortunately, fate conspires to keep them apart and a series of unfortunate mishaps results in them losing contact altogether. Months of frustration and heartache follow until finally Bram manages to discover the location of Beth's parents' house and decides to pay a visit. Beth isn't there when he arrives but she is due home shortly... how will she react when she sees him after all this time...?
