Told in John Benson's unique style, this is a story of lust and passion and the power of a young woman. Fearful of her safety, the young witch Nina runs away to hide from the Eater of dreams, and is taken on by the pretty Sophie to help around the farm. Sophie is a seething mass of secret lust, but the object of her exquisite desire is not her husband Gustav, but Sven. Gustav takes the strap to Nina, just to show her who is the boss, and Nina understands the effect it has on him. She offers Sophie valuable advice - for she knows through her arts that the child carried by Sophie is not sired by Gustav, but if Gustav were to strap his wife for her sin, the act of punishment will bring out a great need in him, and with both anger and pleasure spent he will make the best of the situation.
