The master of the house, Mr. Wilson Mayes, is somewhat shocked as he watches his maid Mrs Reid drape herself over the couch. She raises her dress and petticoats up to her waist, and thrusts out her plump bottom, expecting the master will want to punish her for breaking a vase. After a tentative smack or two, Mr Mays realises the activity is not entirely unpleasant, and after a few more vigorous spanks, he thinks it is most enjoyable! The experience makes him resolve to introduce spanking to other members of the household. Later that day his wife Clara returns home after overspending again, but this time she is taken to task by her husband in the traditional way - which has a very favourable impact on their marriage.
