I can't admit to being a life-long spanko, I certainly had an interest long before I had any idea that there was such a word. It wasn't until the introduction of my first computer and the word search engine came into my life, that I realized that I wasn't alone in the world. It was an easy progression from reading other people's stories to writing my own, though it probably took me a couple of years to finish the first one (To Love a Duchess) and get the nerve to post it online.

I firmly believe in the love between a man and a woman. Many of my characters are older couples, some trying to renew a fading love, some finding long lost love, others reaffirming a sustained love. Strong men and weak women are not always necessary to plot a successful spanking story, but in my eyes, love and understanding are. From fairy tales to ones of modern lovers, for punishment or sensual delights, the sting of a hard hand on a feminine bottom adds a dimension to those relationships unknown to many.

I have found that plots and story lines can be inspired by something as simple as someone's business sign or a truck I may see driving down the street so you will find a wide range of settings willing to convey the idea that people from all walks of life, from times long past right up until tomorrow, are ready and willing to explore the fact of spanking in their personal lives.
